Come with us to explore one of the most authentic Georgian mountain regions - Svaneti. During this 2 day & 1 night tour we will visit different villages in Svaneti, will go for a hike to Shdugra waterfall, wander in Mestia old town among medieval Svan defense towers and will take a mountain lift to explore beautiful mountain panorama.

TOUR PLAN

Day 1 Kutaisi - Enguri Dam - Mazeri - Schdugra waterfall - Mestia We will leave Kutaisi in the morning for our beautiful trip to the mountains. We will stop at Enguri dam, one of the highest dams in the world. In the afternoon we will arrive at village Mazeri, at the foot of majestic Mt.Ushba. After some rest, we will hike to Shdugra waterfall, an easy-moderate hike with little elevation gain, only the last kilometer will be slightly more difficult, it is 4 km both ways. Transfer to Mestia, where we will stay overnight at your chosen guesthouse or hotel. 

Day 2 Mestia Old town - Svan House-museum - Hatsvali lift - Kutaisi We will wander in the old town of Mestia among Svan defense towers, listen to stories & legends about Svaneti. We'll take a ski lift from the center of Mestia town & enjoy the beautiful panorama of Caucasian mountains. On the way we will visit an Ethnographic house-museum or Mountaineering museum. After lunch we leave to Kutaisi.
